Well, well, well. How the heck is everyone doing? I'm currently tired. We went to a Mets game Monday night and we still haven't recovered from the lack of sleep. Lack of sleep meaning we only got 7 hours of sleep. I know, we're pathetic. Oh well, it was fun, even though the Mets lost.
In other news, our Michael Buble concert is Saturday night in Anaheim. We're gonna get a room down there and make a little get-a-way out of it. An added benefit is that we won't have to drive all the way home at midnight with all the drunks. We're really looking forward to the concert - he is amazing live.
In LL Bean news, this is the first time I am officially disappointed with a product. Don't get anything from the Ripstop collection. Or if you do, buy two sizes bigger than you wear. Now I know what you're thinking, but no, I have NOT gained weight. It's not me, it's the brand, I swear! Bean quickly redeemed itself with some of the other items I ordered though - I'm stocking up on some outdoor couture for our upcoming trips.
Speaking of trips, we're going kayaking in Monterey. I told a guy at work and he goes, "Hope you come back alive." I was like yeah, hope so too. What the heck. He then told me about a great white shark in San Diego that killed a surfer. He was like, "Hope a shark doesn't mistake the kayak for a sea lion." Yeah, me too. There are lots of seals and sea lions in the area. :-(
In other work news, we're having a Cinco de Mayo party on Friday. Yeah, not quite Cinco de Mayo. They're calling it Cinco de Nueve. My company can't seem to do anything normally. Oh well, free booze and we get out early. I'll celebrate that any day.

I hear ya...I'm pretty tired today too. Last night I went to see a Broadway show, so I didn't get home until around 11. The show was called Cry-Baby. I knew nothing about it, but my company got comp tickets so I figured I would check it out. Apparently it's based on a movie, who knew! I enjoyed it, it was pretty funny. Kind of like Grease - good girl falls for bad guy.
I also got some things from LL Bean for our CO trip. I wonder if we got the same things?!
7 Hours? S-E-V-E-N!?! I don't know the last time I got seven hours of sleep. Wow. If I get four hours, I'm good to go.
I don't know how I'd survive on 4 hours. Why don't you go to bed earlier??
Plenty of time to sleep when I retire.
I don't make it a habit of only getting 4 hours, I genarally get 6. But, whenever we have a late night, if I get 4 hours I don't even flinch. When we flew back from San Diego, we got delayed in Chicago and I went to work the next day with about 2.5 hours of sleep. I was a bit cranky that day.
Retirement...wish it were tomorrow.
Just for the record, we'll need more than 4 hours sleep in Monterey.
You can get 10 Hours....for the entire weekend.
