We leave for Australia in exactly three weeks. I keep seeing the V Australia digital billboards all over town. Their slogan is "Fly Fabulous". I'm actually excited for the flight. They're playing lots of movies I've wanted to see like Marley & Me and Bolt and maybe even Hotel for Dogs, if I have time. Funny how they're all dog movies...I've been severely deprived for 30+ years.All our big stuff is booked. We rented some cool Australian car yesterday. Now we just need to plan our days out, get tickets for the Opera House tour, harbor boat cruise, the Australia zoo and the trip to the beach in the picture. Oh and we want to actually see something at the Opera House so we're gonna see a showing of Shakespeare's Pericles.
We can't wait to buy all sorts of fun things too. Australia supplies 95% of the world's opals - I cant wait to find some pretty opal jewelry. 21 days and counting!
